SHEDspace is a free one-day festival taking place in Statford. Starting at the station and heading over to the Stratford Centre,  the Old Town Hall and the Theatre Square, guests can discover what Stratford has to offer by exploring the 14 sheds taken over by a variety of artists and community organisations.

Build tall tales on the station concourse, experience Victorian toy theatre, give yourself a new wardrobe through a fabulous fashion exchange and then enjoy some delicious food from all five Olympic continents. There are 14 Sheds meaning that there’s something for everyone. At Stratford Picturehouse’s DIY Cinema event, you can see what it’s like to be the lead in your favourite movie scenes at the ‘Cinema Karaoke’ shed.

Theatre Venture invites visitors to take part in the tiniest, and perhaps the silliest, Games – participate in sports such as ‘the soft toy hammer throw’, ‘spontaneous synchronized swimming’, ‘water balloon shot-put’ and the ‘slow motion marathon’, whilst watching The Travelympics – the entire Olympics in just 8 minutes.

There’s all this and much more at this unique, one-day event.
