Nightjar, City Road East London
“Something special is beginning to stir in a Hoxton basement. Watch this space, but speak easy.”
The Nightjar represents all of the glamour and secrecy (sorta) of the speakeasies of the 20’s. Full of music and life, not to mention alc-e-hol, this luscious venue furnished in black leather by candle is to much fun not to visit…did I mention there was alc-e-hol.
Nightjar holds live events weekly, the next of which will be Tuesday 12th March ’13. The jazzy tunage of Dom Pipkin, a self taught blues brother from London. for more details have a nosey on barnightjar.com.
