Shoreditch Valentines Day Pub Crawl

You & your partner have just moved to East London, you don’t know the area very well, the best places to go for a drink or even anybody to drink with, what do you do?

The Shoreditch Pub crawl…for Valentines day, that’s what.

Yes you heard me, The Shoreditch Pub Crawl are doing a Valentines ‘crawl’ for couples, friends and those who want to get out there and meet new people in a ‘non-awkward way’ on Thursday 14th Feb.

The night starts off at Sink Bar at 8.30pm, everybody with a Pub Crawl ticket gets a free shot at 4 venues and free entry to at least 4 venues throughout the night PLUS discounted drinks at every bar you go too. The next stop after Sink bar is a secret so make sure you get to the meeting point early, enjoy a drink with your fellow travelers and most importantly don’t get left behind.

StreetFest 2014, Fish Island East London

StreetFest Scene from 2012

I love April and May for their many Bank Holidays, days for rest and recuperation or partying madness. If the latter is more your thing then may I recommend StreetfFest.

A day of live music, street dance, graffiti art, eating, sport and even a beach cocktail bar (I know where I’ll be spending the majority of my day) fun and frolics are bound to be had. What’s that I hear you say, you have kids and there’s no way you’ll find a babysitter in time, no problem children are welcome too.

Starting at 1pm till 11pm you can drive to the venue or, as I’ve just found out and am extremely excited by, the event organizers have arranged a shuttle bus service to & from Fish Island from Stratford Station, starting from 12.30pm for £2 each, that has to be better then paying £50 an hour for parking…I may have exaggerated just a little.

You can also shop and get a make over, so if you were thinking street dance and cocktails are for you think again.

Oh one more thing Goldie and Ms Dynamite are headlining, I don’t know about you but I love Goldie, if for no other reason than the guy is fun as hell.

Join the capital’s polysexual fashion elite as Circus’s Jodie Harsh hosts the latest debauched bash here at this opulent central London venue, all with a playful house, electro and techno edge. Tonight’s another pyjama party theme, so get creative with your nightwear, they say, and if you sleep naked, ‘come as you are’.

Harsh and her disco minions DJ Kris Di Angelis, who has been working with All Saints’ Mel Blatt, and club scene enfant terrible Jim Warboy, slam down plenty of techno, tech-house, electro-pop and fidget house via anything else that’s bitchy, upfront and cool, plus their neverending list of party hosts including Alexis Knox, Medusa, Kingsley, La Pequena, Munroe Bergdorf, Daniel Lismore and Brook London, are on hand to make sure you’re still propping up the bar.

Hidden thing to do in London, Revealed!

Silent Disco, somewhere in London…

4047062276_569268d921

They are a pop-up silent disco based in London. Using combination of iPhones, portable wi-fi networks, headphones, charisma, apps, sounds, shapes and spaces they create instant dance floors, momentary raves and transient music events in any and every place they can.

The concept behind fyi disco is simple; what if your iPhone could function like a pair of headphones at a silent disco?

Go here to find out how it works, then just follow the instructions and turn up at their next location. We run off battery power alone, which means we can pop-up anywhere we fancy, just be sure to charge up before showing up…

If you want to get in touch with them it means you’re probably a nice person, go on and say hello using whichever method you fancy, they’ll love you all the more for it :0)

Where is it?

fyidisco can happen anywhere at any time, for the most up to date information on their next location check their twitter or facebook.
