May Day Bank Holiday 2019

So we missed the Easter Bank holiday (our bad) but here are a few ideas for your May Day Bank Holiday.

Lycra 80s Aerobics Party

Everybody loves the 80s, big hair, big clothes, big mobiles, and LYCRA.

If you hate working out but feel like you need to get some exercise in, and just happen some Lycra in your cupboard, then why not head over to the 80s Lycra Party this Sunday. It’s a fiver, there’s no work on Monday plus there’re DJs so no excuses!

Where:  Sunday 5th May from 10pm – Monday 6th May 3am

When:  Oslo Hackney, 1A Amhurst Road, Hackney, E8 1LL

Tickets:  £5 + £1 booking fee from here

More Info: fatsoma.com

Dress Code: “Sparkly & Sassy; don’t forget your leg warmers, lycra and sweatbands!”

Colourscape

“Colourscape is a large labyrinth of colour and light. The public put on coloured capes and enter a new world to explore the potentials of light, colour and space. Within the maze, musicians and dancers may be found anywhere.”

The website describes this event better than we could, but be aware this is a ‘no shoes’ event so if your feet are a bit pongy it maybe time for a pedicular…no judgments though.

Where: Play Park, Wembley Park, HA9 0RX

When: Saturday 4th May – Monday 6th May, 11am – 4.30pm

Tickets:  What Tickets, it’s free baby!

More info: wembleypark.com

Enjoy salsa dancing, family entertainment and food and drink, of course.
